There are lots of fun things to do at camp. Perhaps the greatest advantage that we have over other camps is the access to several easy hiking trails accessing the Santa Fe National Forest and the Pecos Wilderness Area. Two National Forest maintained trails begin on our property and can be hiked for miles and miles. The camp also harbors a few secret trails that only our campers and renters know about! Buy a fishing license in town before you come up and you can try your luck for the elusive brown and rainbow trout in Beaver Creek, 1 1/2 miles of which is on our own property! Along with hiking and fishing, we have a basketball court, sand volleyball pit, softball field, nine basket disc golf course, horse shoe pit, large camp fire ring, a low ropes course, and a high ropes course including a climbing wall, power pole, multi-vine, balance beam, and zip line.
New for 2011, we now have a 32,000 sq ft enclosed paintball course with 25 markers available for use. We provide all equipment necessary to play, referees to facilitate matches, and participants only pay for their paint. Paint is sold for $5 per 140 balls or $15 per 500 balls. The popularity of this program is evidenced by the 200,000 balls that have been used on the course in June 2011 alone!
